RE-PATCHED RESIDENCY IN SERBIA

The RE-PATCHED artistic team gathered together with 5 young musicians and artists in Novi Sad, Serbia for an artistic residency that took place in Atelje 61. Team of professionals spent 10 days researching the methods of composing and interpreting graphical scores and the work of famous Polish composer Boguslaw Schaffer.

As part of the program the whole team also worked together with Paul Pignon, Boguslaw Schaffer’s direct student and renowned artist. With his assistance and guidance the team of experts and young musicians had a chance to work and record on SYNTH 100 in the studio of Radio Belgrade for two intensive days. Paul Pignon demonstrated the principles and methods of work that Boguslaw Schaffer used back in 1974 when they were working together in Radio Belgrade.

In the continuation of the residency team was working on the program for two upcoming concerts in Serbia. They were as an ensemble preparing original Schaffer’s graphics, two pieces that represent homage to his work by the artists from the team and also Schaffer's famous composition “NON STOP”.

Many Thanks to our amazing team of artists Orsolya Kaincz, Daniel Matej, Gerard Lebik, Petr Vrba, Ljubomir Nikolić, Elia Moretti, Anežka Matouškova, Aleksandra Wtroek, Pavol Beres, Marcell Csuka who continued on the legacy and work of Boguslaw Schaffer and brought the new tone to it in 21st centiry.
